The 3RD International Turkmenistan Book Golden Publishing Products of the Golden Age

We announce that “Negus International” Company is planning organization of the national exposition of Russian exhibitors at the 3RD International Turkmenistan Book Fair which is to take part on October 8-10 2008 at the exhibition complex in Ashgabat “Sergi Kosgi”.
According to President of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov, decision the organizer is to be Turkmen State Publishing Service.
Delegations from foreign countries, Turkmenistan and non-state delegations are invited to take part in the Fair. Russian companies representatives are to be honourable guests at the Fair, for during the last years interest in the Russian-language books and magazines has gone up in Turkmenistan. In June 2008 President of Turkmenistan, G. Berdymuhamedov, signed a decree on subscription campaign to foreign periodicals for the second six months of 2008. In the near future Ministry of Communication of Turkmenistan is going to make a corresponding contract with “Rospechat” Agency of the Russian Federation for the total sum of 2 million 486 thousand roubles.
Goals of the International Fair:
• literary heritage of Turkmen people propaganda;
• establishing new creative, economic and technical contacts with publishing houses, state enterprises, firms and private business;
• modern experience exchange with publishing and printing organizations;
• presentations, lectures, reports, exhibitors’ presentations;
• new contacts in order to buy and sell books and publishing rights, market research;
• getting to know world literature.
In the 3RD International Turkmenistan Book Fair delegations from all over the world can take part and exhibit in all spheres of publishing, books distribution, polygraphic industry, supplies, libraries, book publishing enterprises, authors.
Within the frame of the Fair programme there is exhibiting and selling all kinds of literature. There are also lectures, reports, presentations and round-table discussions. All Fair participants will be presented with souvenirs.
The 2007 forum in the capital of Turkmenistan during two days got together representatives of 30 publishing houses and printing centres, biggest printing houses and polygraphic firms, newspapers and magazines editing houses from 16 countries of the world. Thousands of Ashgabat citizens and guests visited the Fair. They had a chance to see the business of both regular Turkmenistan business partners and the beginners at the Turkmenistan market.
In the pavilions editions of classics, stationary and various souvenirs were largely exhibited. Popular with the visitors and participants were the exhibition stands displaying a wide range of polygraphic services of the Turkmenistan Press Centre, with many of publishing novelties pavilions of wholesale and retail association “Turkmankitap” and the state enterprise “Chaphanahyzmatlary”. Of great interest there was the Turkmenistan State Archive exposition.
